Many lily perfumes pair the fleshy indoles of the flower with either green notes, to cut the headiness, or with resinous or woody notes to add gravitas. Lily by Roja Dove takes a different route, allowing the lily to mate with other equally heady white and yellow florals for a creamy, tropical treatment that emphasizes the suggestive, enveloping aroma for which lilies are famous. A fresh burst of Bergamot and Lemon is sublimated by a rich bouquet of Jasmine, Rose, Frangipani, Lily of the Valley, Carnation, and Ylang Ylang. It is The rigorous warmth of clove and carnation allows the flower to leap out in all its peppery, creamy glory, the whole nestling on an enveloping base of Wood Notes, and Vanilla, with whispers of sensual Musk.
