During a voyage to the beautiful beach of Krabi in Southern Thailand, the perfumer ended up walking in a tropical forest near the Andaman Sea. There came a special, almost meditative moment when she felt a gentle breeze blowing through the trees. At that very instant she experienced a wonderful sense of liberty and profound silence.
Those were the feelings she tried to communicate when she created Issara. She built the composition essentially like a Fougère but with several modern twists, adding aromatic components which she associates with her love for nature and freedom. She chose Clary Sage, Pine, Oakmoss, Ambergris, Vetiver Bourbon, Tonka Bean and Musk, creating an olfactory harmony which depicts, almost mystically, the essence of a forest: green, fresh and woody, bristling with life and Nature’s tonifying energy.
